History

BFTB was incorporated in 2016. It was initially organized as a golf tournament to bring together the five branches of the military, the general public, sponsors, donors and volunteers in support of post 9/11 critically injured military personnel.
The name, Bogies for the Brave, is a parody stemming from our partnership with the PGA’s Travelers Tournament’s and its Birdies for Charity program. BFTB continues to grow and now hosts a variety of events that increase community engagement and raise awareness in support of our mission.

How We Help

BFTB recognizes the sacrifices of our military and first responders by meeting their needs beyond that normally provided by the Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, or state and local governments. We do this by sponsoring service dogs as well as financially supporting organizations that provide adaptive and therapeutic equipment, temporary housing during medical emergencies and counseling for grieving children.

How We Are Unique

We are an all-volunteer and self-funded organization. All marketing, administrative and fundraising costs are reimbursed through donations from our directors and gifts from our sponsors. This insures that 100% of your donations go directly to our program services.

Support

Tax-deductible contributions make up our lifeblood; whether donations are large or small, every individual or corporation has the power to make a real difference. Bogies for the Brave is forever grateful to each of our supporters and all of our volunteers for sharing in our ongoing mission. Please help us help those who have given so much in the name of safety and freedom.

“…Everybody can do something. Every American. Every business. Every profession. Every school. Every community. Every state. All of us, as one American team. That's how we will truly honor our veterans. That's how we will truly say thank you. That's how we will uphold the sacred trust with all who've served in our name.”
