Thanks to all those who came out to support Newington's first responders,
at our first annual C.H.E.F. (Connecticut Heroes Emergency Fund) event at Puerto Vallarta in Newington, CT.
The night kicked off with a margarita mingle, mariachi and appetizers! Followed by some history of the Dia de Los Muertos and information regarding BFTB/C.H.E.F.'s "Operation Thank You!" Where Juan Rodriguez - owner of PV, received the first C.H.E.F's hat as a thank you for his continued support as one of Connecticut Restaurants "Serving Those Who Serve US!" (for more information, see the CHEF program page - click here)
Folks then enjoyed a Mexican buffet, face painting, raffle and silent auction prizes!

BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hello BFTB:
Here’s your first sneak peak of Stormy! (I’m not sure which one she is—but she’s one of the adorably little black puppies). When she is assigned to a raiser and ready to go into prison I’ll send more photos and an official announcement card. But I wanted you to know that Stormy has been born, and is a healthy little puppy. She’ll be trained as a service dog, like Bogie.
More soon,
Eric
This week I'm going to be introducing you to Fargo's litter. On April tenth, Fargo had six precious little ones. She had five girls and one yellow boy. Their names are Paulie, Sasha, Roe, Maxie, Stormy and Bob.
