Through the Travelers Championship Birdies for Charity program, every dollar you donate to Bogies for the Brave grows by 15%, thanks to the generosity of Travelers and Webster Bank. That means your gift makes a 115% impact on our Operation Thank You scholarship program.
Your support directly funds educational opportunities and essential training for the first responders who protect our communities every day. Last year, we awarded $4,000 in scholarships and provided nearly $2,000 in critical training equipment to our local EMS.

Please join us as we celebrate Dia de los Muertos and Halloween on National First Responder Day,
October 28, 2024 // POSTPONED TO NOVEMBER 4, 2024
All proceeds will benefit Newington’s emergency services personnel.
The night kicks off at 5:00 pm with a complimentary margarita and live mariachi music from Trovadores de America.
Dinner Buffet at 6:00 pm
Raffle and Silent Auction at 7:00 pm.

Operation E.L.F., Embracing Lonely Families, provides support to military families enduring the hardship of separation due to deployment and helps lessen the financial stresses these families face resulting from their call to active duty. It is designed to support military families whose loved ones are deployed, preparing to deploy within the next 6 months or recently returned from deployment.

A dog walks into a bar … seriously, this is no joke!
“Bogie”, a service dog in training, will be honored during a cocktail reception at the Flying Monkey Bar and Grill, 2095 Berlin Turnpike, Newington, CT on September 15, 2021, 4-8pm. Bogie is being released from prison to meet all the folks who made his sponsorship possible. Proceeds to go toward sponsoring another service dog for a disabled veteran or first responder.
